Short Bio -
Born and raised in Providence, Kriegenbergh lived in nearby Westchester,
NY for 8yrs. Born and raised on the wrong side of town in Providence,
her family had little money. She asserts that things weren't that boring,
as her Mom was a follower of Prempal Singh Rawat, or Guru Maharaji and the
Divine Light Mission. Prempal was an Indian boy, a teacher rather than
guru, and her family was always going somewhere to hear him "speak and partake
in festivals."
Her family even sold their restaurant (Humble Pie) to charter two jumbo jets
to take westerners to New Delhi in 1972. The family took her and her
brother as well. Sunny has never had a lesson or class in painting,
but keeps trying different combinations of subject, light, color and contrast
to see what happens.
She concentrates on raising her daughter, Hunter, as well as pursuing her more innovative and artistic tendancies.
