Barnes & Noble Showcases Local Authors

Warwick, RI, October 1, 2007 – More than a dozen authors are set to appear at Barnes & Noble in Warwick on Friday, October 19th at 7:00 pm.  

 

Barnes & Noble, is partnering with authors to highlight local talent in the Rhode Island Arts arena.  Join us for an evening of signing, discussion and wanderlust as we celebrate the Rhode Island authors.

 

Below is a sample of the authors and artists scheduled to appear at this event:

           

John Raben– The director and author behind the ultra-successful Italian Americans and Federal Hill book and DVD will be here with his team this evening to discuss his beloved Hill, the making of the movie, and future plans!  


Marc Blevins
– Author of Hard Sell and Pray for the Dead.  Mystery lovers will not want to miss out on Marc’s neo-noir thrillers set in Rhode Island.  


Mike Pescione
– Mike, Dan Pepler and friends will be here to discuss Mike’s new book, The Confessions of a Dead Man.  An ACI guard, Mike has written the best mafia book since The godfather.  If you want an inside look at a piece of RI historym, then this is the novel for you.
