About the USO
Since 1941, the USO has served as a "home away from home" for the men and
women of our armed forces during war and peace and as the main support link
between Americans and our men and women in uniform.
Since its inception, the USO has remained steadfast in its mission of
providing morale and welfare services to the men and women of the U.S. armed
forces. The USO provides a host of programs and services that promote the
morale and welfare of our troops and their families - from entertainment
to family support services to personal emergency assistance and more.
