"Chrisette Michele is a fantastic vocalist, the first time I heard her - she blew me away. She's beyond her years, I can't wait to see her do what she does best on Mother's Day. It's nice to know Chrissete is lending her celebrity to help the many Americans affected by kidney disease." - Kim Kane
"Pain is inevitable. Suffering is optional." ~M. Kathleen Casey

over 13% of Americans Nationwide. Aging with diabetes is another cause for
it to continue to rise with the "greying" of America.
- Americans with moderately chronic kidney disease had a 38 percent greater chance of developing heart disease... so basically you die of a heart attack before you die of kidney failure even though the kidney's cause it.
- Hypertension-related kidney disease affects every group and race. However, certain groups are at higher risk and at the top of that list are African Americans and Hispanic Americans.
