Cross-Mojination; Dancing feet, fingers hook-up
New York guitarist, choreographer connected by blues, rock and roots music share spotlight and audiences.

New York, N.Y. / May 14th, 2008 Onesock Productions presents "Paul Zunno Acoustic" featuring Stephanie Harris Dance at the Perishable Theatre of Providence, R.I., May 29th, 30th, 31st at 8pm.

Zunno, a guitarist and singer, who played with the late Wilson Pickett for seven years, says he knew nothing about dance before Harris invited him to a performance using his blues CD (Black & White and Blues All Over).

"The dancing brought something wonderful to my songs. I saw all kinds of possibilities."

One possibility was a live performance together; his solo concert and the modern/jazz dance of Harris.  Zunno never doubted that his audience would enjoy the combination.

"I've had guys you'd never expect tell me how much they loved the dancing," says Zunno.   "It's unaffected like the music and people seem to relate."

Zunno will be performing originals along with acoustic covers of songs by, Ray Charles, Bob Dylan, Tom Waits and The Doors.

They will be joined by dancers from Rhode Island for a special performance choreographed by Harris.  Rhode Island singer/songwriter Gary Foisy opens.

Tickets are $20 and $15 students/seniors and available online at www.theatermania.com or by phone 866-811-4111.  For more information, go to www.zunno.com.
